Ba’s home made hoisin sauce
Chao Ba’s home made hoisin sauce is a sweet and savoury, creamy dipping sauce which is delicious for dipping rice paper rolls but also makes a great dip for veggies and grilled meats or is delicious stirred into noodles. Our signature sauce strike the perfect balance between the traditional Hoisin base, the creaminess of the peanut butter and coconut cream, fresh chilli and garlic.
This sauce can be kept in the refrigerator, covered, for a week. It will become more firm when cool so heat it in the microwave until it becomes smooth and creamy, 10-15 seconds, and stir well before using.
